Students can make a big difference in the lives of their friends and family when it comes to suicide. People who commit suicide feel isolated and feel that suicide is their only option. They don't necessarily want to die, they just want what they are going through to end. The biggest falsehood is that if we talk about suicide we are planting a seed for them to attempt suicide. Suicide is truly an epidemic that we can have a major effect on.
